Pilates is magic! It can dramatically transform the way your body looks, feels and performs. It’s an innovative and safe system of mind-body exercise using a floor mat or a variety of equipment. It evolved from the principles of Joseph Pilates and builds strength without excess bulk, good posture and graceful movement patterns. We focus our Pilates sessions on:
- Alignment and awareness
- Balance of musculature and correct movement patterns
- Control
- Development of all aspects of fitness
- Efficient movement
- Harmony of body and mind
- Fun and fulfillment
All of our certified Pilates instructors have successfully completed a Comprehensive Teacher Training Program and have taken the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) exam to become a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT).
Each instructor has in-depth knowledge on Pilates theory, exercises, and skills to teach clients at any level on the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, Ped-a-Pul, Mat and other auxiliary apparatus at The Studio.
